Over 80's Test
Drivers must renew their Driver Licence at age 75 and 80, and every two years after that. To renew your licence at age 75 you will need to visit your Doctor to get a Medical Certificate for the Driver Licence.
While you may have had many, many years of accident free driving the ever changing road rules can cause confusion and a loss of confidence.
Although a practical driving test is no longer compulsory (unless required by a doctor), one or two refresher lessons would update your knowledge and give you the self confidence to ensure you are ready to meet the challenges of many more years safe driving.
If you would like full details of the Older Drivers:Licence Renewal visit the LTSA
Factsheet No 57 or feel free to contact us in regard to any questions big or small.
Today being
able to drive is a neccessity but it is also a priveledge and can be a
lot of fun.
Our aim is to
ensure you have the ability and confidence to enjoy many many years of
safe, accident free driving.
